Sorry
And I mean it guys!
I haven't posted here in over a month as my life has been so hectic, so much so I am not finding time for my friends and girlfriend. And yes I am getting it in the neck over this.
The biggest change in the last month is I am an operational Special. My regular shift is every Friday night but I also do the odd weekend if there is a special event on.
My first shift I was really scared but now I am loving every minute of it, so much so that I am seriously considering giving up IT to go into policing full time, only one slight problem - money!
I have big financial commitments and a lifestyle that matches. I would have to enter on the rank of Met Inspector to maintain the same salary. This is not going to happen...
I also wanted to thank everyone for their support last month, it helped and myself and my girlfriend are moving on...

Sunday Buffet
Adult = £12.95
Child = £5.95 (under 1.3m tall)
So the Chinese think you are a child if you are under 1.3 meters or 4.26 Ft tall? Does that mean they won't be serving beers to Verne Troyer or Jason Acuna?

What a day yesterday!
I was having a reasonable day until my meeting overan, which meant i left work 2hours late. By this point it had started raining and I was faced with a long ride home in the pooring cold rain.
As I was going out that night I stopped for fish and chips - what is it with the local chavs hanging out in fish and chip shops playing on fruit machines?
Anyway I got home to be confronted by one of my neighbours who was pissed off bigtime. Why? Well I keep my bike in my flat as we are not allowed to store bikes on the communal area's including the gardens. I have to man handle my bik downstairs everydayi ride to work. We have just had the communal areas of the flats decorated and unfortunatly on my way out in the morning my back wheel touched the freshly painted walls. Talk about a lecture!!! My fish & chips got cold and I felt like a naughty school boy!
I apologised and explained it might be a good idea for us to get a bike shed so i didn't have to store my bike upstairs and run the risk of ruining the paintwork. My brother-in-law owns a gardening business and is coming over Sunday to provide a quote :)
C has had a look at the other schemes. And funny enough has managed to get 2 points of view because the school she is doing work experience at this week and last week have a PGCE trainee and GTP (correct acronym?) trainee. For C's circumstances everyone agrees the PGCE is the best route.
Specials are entitled to expenses - I have just submitted a claim for £160 traveling expenses for the last 2 monthes. Is this morally wrong?
